"I'll Give You the Sun is realistic fiction story, but it takes you into a whole different world, as good books should always do. It is heartwarming and sweet and harsh all at the same time. You'll be crying and laughing all the way through. It is a good book for if you want to understand people and it will teach you that everybody has a reason for their story. Everyone has many sides that are all mixed up, and if you only look at one side, your missing out on a whole lot. You will fall in love with the complex characters, and their dreams and their fears will become real and heartbreaking. But when the ending comes, you will be so satisfied that you will want more. So please read this book if you want to read probably one of the best YA novels out there." - Lila
