Hello JFK students and staff! Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! A few things as we start the year.
1. Summer reading logs!
Please turn in your summer reading logs by this Friday, September 6th! You may give them to Ms. Chelimsky or Mrs. Schmidt. Prizes will be distributed next week.
2. Library hours!
The library is open from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm every day (unless you see a note on the door which says otherwise). In the morning, please wait until you see the lights come on before you come in.
3. Lunch time!
We are happy to have students come to the library during lunch. However! A few rules:
- Please eat before coming down here.
- Food, drinks other than water, and gum are not allowed in the library.
- You must have a pass from the cafeteria.
- Do not wait until the very end of the period to come down.
4. Computer use!
The library's computers are, first and foremost, for work. If the library is busy and you are using the computers for games (which must come from our approved games list), you may be asked to sign out and let someone else use them. In addition, if we find that you are not following the district's acceptable use policy, you will be asked to vacate the computer.
