Hi everyone! I just wanted to alert everyone to a couple of really cool things which are happening!
Harry Potter at Home: Watch celebrities read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone! So far they've had Daniel Radcliffe (Harry in the movies) reading chapter one, Noma Dumezweni (Hermione on stage in The Cursed Child) reading chapter two, and Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander in the Fantastic Beasts movies) reading chapter three. All seventeen chapters will be read, and by a wide variety of awesome celebrities, including Stephen Fry, David Beckham, and Dakota Fanning!
Live from NYPL - Coraline: More celebrities, more read-alouds! Every night from the 12th through the 18th at 6pm, the New York Public Library presents readings of Coraline! Featuring Neil Gaiman (the author of Coraline and many other excellent books), LeVar Burton (actor, director, educator, and executive producer of PBS’s Reading Rainbow), Rosario Dawson (actor), and Dakota Fanning (actor).
