Hi everybody!
Now, we've talked a bunch lately about eBooks, and we have so many great eBook collections that you can access right now! But I know that there are many people who prefer to have physical books to read. Well, that option is now back!
Requesting a book:
- Option 1: Go to the library catalog to look for a book that you want. When you find something that you'd like to borrow, click "request." Your username is your email address, no password is necessary.
- Option 2: Email me to ask me for a book.
Getting a book: When a book that you request is available, I will check it out to you.
- Hybrid: I will then put the book on your classroom table with a note with your name on it.
- Remote: I will email you to let you know you're books ready. You can come to the building on Mondays or Thursdays between 2:15 and 2:40 to pick the book up. Ring the bell and tell them you're here for a library book. I will come outside to bring it to you. If you cannot come during those times, email me and we will work something out.
Returning a book:
- Hybrid: Put a note (a sticky note or just a piece of paper masking taped on) on the book that says "library" and put it on your classroom table in the hallway. I will come around and pick them up.
- Remote: You can drop the book off on Mondays or Thursdays between 2:15 and 2:40. Ring the bell abd tell them you're here to drop off a book. I will come out to get it. If you cannot come during those times, email me and we will work something out.
Feel free to email me with any questions! And don't forget, if you want book suggestions, fill out this form and then pop me a message!
