Hi everybody! May is here, which means that it is time for us to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Yey!
We have some amazing books for you to take a look at in celebration of AAPI Heritage Month. We have non-fiction books featuring amazing AAPI folks and their history, fiction by AAPI authors and featuring AAPI characters. You can come to the library to take a look at our display, of course, but if you'd like to know what we have in the library in general, here's a list for you (the list will be continuously updated)!
Also, I recommend checking out the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center's awesome "Care Package" website! The Smithsonian APA Center describes it as "Poems, meditations, films, and other cultural nutrients for times like this. Curated with love by the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center." Do also check out the link at the top of the page, because that site has links to some super cool virtual events, including concerts and book talks!
